Hello

Just to show (off) my newly acquired Deep Pan ASA with a solid back.
I think its a good one, but always good to get some second opinions.

All the best

WW2 Japanese clock for the instrument panel seiko

Has anyone seen a similar aircraft clock with the dial with the "12" at the bottom? Most photos I’ve seen show it both ways; the "12" at the top, the "12" at the bottom. Was this common for the Japanese pilots who wore it both ways from a parachute cord around their necks? Also, is this an Army or Navy clock? Any help would be appreciated.

Question about WWI VWA issued before/during WWII

Hey gents - this might be a question with an obvious answer, but wanted to run it by the experts before thinking I had it figured out. I know a lot of WWI veterans waited through the 20s, 30s, and some even the 40s to get their complete military records and be officially issued their Verwundetenabzeichen. Personally, I have three such cases in my own collection. Am I correct in assuming that these men still received wound badges without swastikas, even if issued this late? Is this one of the reasons we come across "WWII style" helmeted-wound badges without swastikas? That would be my suspicion.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts!

Quite an unusual subject to combine events in history and rock music, but i think the Swedish metal band Sabaton manage to do it pretty well. Sabaton (band) - Wikipedia
I don’t know the title of the film about the Polish hussars but i wouldn’t mind watching it!…
