Question PZK 6 (?) Fritz Zimmermann (?) Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse mit Schwertern

Nothing unusual here. Just a standard War Merit Cross 2nd Class in tombak.

My question is more about the maker.

It appears to be PKZ #6. (Not sure if it is a 9 however)

PKZ #6 is for Fritz Zimmermann. But I have found no examples on the forum of PKZ 6 War Merit Crosses.

Also, in Maerz brand new book on War Merit Crosses 1st class (yes not the 2nd class book), I see no reference to F. Zimmermann making 1st class awards and thus I assume the same would apply for 2nd class.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Michael

“Off to War” banner and a few other items

I am fortunate to have a friend that deals in militaria, and brings me any Japanese military items he comes across. These are what he brought me today. I’m quite happy to have finally acquired an “Off to War” banner. They are pieces of art in their own right and really do add a splash of color to a collection. The wire cutters and ammo bag were also a great score as you don’t often see them for sale in my neck of the woods. I hope everyone enjoys the photos.

SS Gebirgsjager Edelweiss Patch

Click to the picture to follow the sales

by: Thaddeus

Description: For your consideration is the nice SS Gerbirgsjager Edelweiss patch. It displays well (although there is one tiny hole beneath a stem) and it comes with the display case. These patches have a dark history behind then as the majority were made by slave laborers at the Dachau Camp. I am asking $150 shipped within the US.

War Relics Militaria sales

2 Eisernes Krez,both good?

One is near mint with ribbon, other is very dark no ribbon. Both rings are marked, looks like 23 and 120.
