Here I have a Mk4 British Military Police Turtle Helmet. The helmet has the liner system which makes this a MK5 but the shell is a Mk4 as they never made any after 1953. I believe this shell to be a 1945 Mk4, the markings don’t show a the year only BMB and a few steel numbers. The rivet holding the liner bolt is flat headed that you see on the 1945 Mk4 versus the hollow rivet you see on the 1950s versions. Also the paint inside the helmet looks like the brown OD type you see used during WW2. The helmets liner system has the year 1979 so this old girl has seen well over 30 plus years of service with the British army. Would love your opinion on this one guys.

Hello,
need help with this chinstrap, but I have only this very very bad photos. I used have many this producers font like on last photo, but never see with big font like this, but never see any repros in this producer, unfortunately I can not have it in my hads but liner and helmet is full original piece…Thanks for help if possible

Hi

I have notised that the pommel can be at 2 directions.
Sometimes with the swastica at the release bottom. And sometimes at the other direction. Why?

I just came across this nice US shirt that appears to be from WW2. I see no problems with it, but just wanted to make sure I’m correct that this is indeed an original WW2 US Shirt, any help and info is always appreciated! cool militaria
