MK2 grenade found at estate sale

I picked this grenade up this morning at an estate sale. It was being used as a bookend. It looked right to me and upon further investigation, I believe it to be 1942-43. It does have a coat of orangish/yellow underneath that has been painted OD green. The markings are 33, a cross or a plus, diamond shape. What do you guys think about its originality and can we learn anything from the markings? I had to spend 50 cents 115697011569711156972115697311569741156975on this, so I hope the news isn’t too bad. :)

Fixed bale Schlueter with 1st pattern USMC frog skin cover

Here I have a front seam fixed bale Schlueter with the stamp# S 75A and puts its production to 1943. 2 million Schlueters were produced during WW2 compared to McCord’s 20 million.
The liner is a Firestone with uncoated steel triangular washers which puts this one to early 1943. The nape strap has the laundry number Y-5062 http://wwii-enlistment.com/search/?q…quick-search=1 got 8 hits off this laundry number. The liner comes fitted with a double wire sweat band also.
The frog skin cover is the type commonly referred to as the 1st pattern but there is apparently some speculation over the order the 3 known cover types were produced in. This cover has no foliage slits and is marked on the rear in a very faded red 204.
I added this cover to the helmet it did not come with the helmet.

Post war M1 Colonel Helmet with Liner - Authentic?

Hi, I am looking at a nice condition M1 Helmet and westinghouse liner that has a Colonel decal on both. The Liner does not have a insignia hole but there is a Colonel decal on it. Is this correct and does the decal look original? I can not find any examples of a Colonel decal for that period.

Question SA Treffen Braunschweig 17/18 Oktober 1931 badge

Hello all,

I would just like to confirm if this one is OK. The raised letters are generally the accepted versions, correct?
