I had this listed in the WWI forum section, but maybe it should have been in the WWII forum section. I bought this at a local estate auction. I bought it thinking it was a WWII footlocker. BUT….the more I look into it I think it is a WWI footlocker. The last patent date on the Oshkosh label is Oct 31, 1916. It is in great shape. It is named with company and other info. The inside tray and inside lining is great. I’m just looking to see 1: is it WWI or WWII? 2: is it a rare trunk? and any other info I can get. Thanks!

I wanted some sort of cloth item to go with my cap eagle so I got this one. I do not know how to identify original Wasserschutzpolizei shoulder boards (or where to get them) so my next purchase might just be a buckle?! Preferably with a tab.

Mollo’s books seem to be somewhat lacking in some things, such as explaining the war time insignia regulations of SS-TV personnel.

In period photographs, we can see war time camp personnel wear both the runic tab and the TK tab. Does anyone have information about these war time regulations? Who was entitled to wear SS runes, and who had to wear the totenkopf?
