Vet Bringback M35 DD Combat Police Helmet

Vet Bringback M35 DD Combat Police Helmet.
I picked it up yesterday directly from the vet’s son.
The vet was an Army photographer.
The helmet is in salty condition but still a nice piece.
There is also a name penciled on the skirt of the helmet in 2 places and inside the dome.
Hard to read. Looks like Or…..
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Also thank you all for helping me come up with a fair offer for the helmet.

SS Sleeve Eagle Cut-Off

Hello, I purchased this piece at a military show this weekend. My main concern is if the eagle is wartime attached to the fabric? I know some eagles are sewn on to fabric just to inflate the price and this is my worry with my piece  Thanks for looking! :)

O&C ges SS Buckle for Opinions Please

I have an opportunity to purchase this buckle for $200 US and would like other opinions. It looks good to me based upon some research and others posted. My opinion is a 1932 manufactured O&C ges buckle, solid nickle materials, that is pretty worn. Looks like it was cleaned hard. Condition leaves much to be desired but shows use. Hopefully not faked aged. The wings and the chest look good to me. The prongs look correct to me. It comes from a good estate with other good items but I would like to be cautious as I do not have a lot of experience and even less with SS items. All opinions, good or bad are appreciated.
John

Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse ohne Schwerter, fake/original

Hi guys,
I have recently bought the below Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse and upon receiving the item I have concerns and would appreciate others opinions please.

Although not an expensive item it was advertised by a well respected dealer (Giels militaria) as a mid/late war zinc Kvk2 without swords.

My concerns are regarding the colour of the medal itself (against the ring colour), and the packet envelope that against others I have (shown in photo) doesn’t have the "reddish" tint, although the font and print look correct.

Please see attached photos (apologies if photos are a bit pants) and as always I appreciate all opinions.

Thanks in advance,

Andre

Polish Wz 50 Civil Defence “Wujek”

11109471110948111094911109501110951

Ex Polish army Wz 50 handed over for use by Civil Defence (Obrona Cywilna) based at the “Wujek” coal mine in Silesia, on the 16th December 1981 nine workers Solidarity members were killed by the Special Platoon of ZOMO Zmotoryzowane Odwody Milicji Obywatelskiej (Motorized Reserves of the Citizens’ Militia). A very sad day in Polish history but is thought to be one of the events that brought about the downfall of communism in Poland.

A pretty uncared for lid, the liner and chin strap were very dry and brittle so i used a leather preservative on them and now they are quite supple, the rest of the lid was filthy and took a few hours to clean up. It might be seen as a mundane Civil Defence helmet by some, but i’m more than happy with it. James C has a similar example!…

KW M1-C - 504 82nd A/B - Named to Herbert Lewon

I picked this one up yesterday - a rear seam M1-C with an interesting net. It also has painted 504th shields on either side, and the liner is id’ed to Herbert Lewon, who served during the Korean War. Mr. Lewon was an iron worker all of his life, was from Norwich, Connecticut, and passed away on his 78th birthday, 7/2/11. Jim G
