Hi guys.

I have just bought this lovely medal. The golden kite 7th.
It is very interesting to date these medals and in this case I think because of the letters are in gold colour this medal is not from WW2. I think it is from the 2nd Manchurian incident beacuse the lapped ribbon with this medal was issued in 1936.

But of course, I am not sure about it as I am not an expert. May be real experts in the forum could confirm or not my conclusions.

HI guys
Sorry I haven’t been here for quite some time but it’s being one hell of a hot Summer :shok_yikes:(that’s my excuse anyway) This morning I needed to buy something from e-bay and came across this HSAT item number 302399294434
I always thought that HSAT liners were only made by BMB in WW2 ,so why is this one made by C&S ?
I’m sure someone has as answer

I was at a clients house doing some work for him and admiring some family medals he had on his wall when he pulled this out and offered it to me. He wanted to give it to me and money in exchange for the work but I refused the cash but I did accept the scarf. It was his brothers who served in the Canadian army and landed on Juno Beach, and ended up having a long life, on passing all his items went to his brother. The scarf is about 110cm by about 72cm (it might be bigger, I didn’t want to pull the cloth taut. The green and brown is darker in person than what you see in the pictures since I had to use a lighter green as a background to be able and see it well.
