Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwerter

Good afternoon all

I brought this Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwerter a few years ago now from a well know military medal dealer in my local area who has since closed down. Although he specialised in British Medals and decorations he did have a few Third Reich items. At the time I was very knew to the hobby, although I’m still learning, and didn’t know about WRF to check things out. I have been looking at posts on the Kriegsverdienstkreuz forum but am finding it hard to confirm whether this is genuine of fake and if genuine what the maker is.
I will keep looking but if anyone has a moment and could help I would really appreciate it. I am still looking for a boxed one but they are hard to find, or at least seem to be. Not surprising really as I think only around 92,000 were awarded.

unusual Robert KLAAS Parade sword

Good afternoon to you all

Here is the latest entry … Robert KLAAS officier sabel …

I know that model isn’t seen that often, i have not been able to trace a reference N° or a name for that model… Haven’t seen it in R KLAAS catalogs i could get hold of … Any idea ?

There is it .. i have seen it in some collections here :

1101179
1101180
1101181

1101184
1101185
1101186
1101187
1101188
1101189

Here is the closest reference i could get : Page 76 in T JOHNSON’s GERMAN SWORDS OF WWII … A more simple version of D guard for that sword … Could the one listed in the book be a sort of prototype ? and this KLAAS sabel be the final product being manufactured ?

German WWII Carl Zeiss Instrument for Flak 88mm ?

Hello,

I have this WWII instrument where I am wondering about what it in fact was used for and what it is. I have done some research on it and I think it has to do with the Flak 88 mm.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards, Ulli1101150110115111011521101153

Need help! DEMJANSK Shield

I still struggle with these. I know the fakes exist with the serif J - but what of the straight J? They do exist - so is this a fake - or a real one

Thanks in advance

Medal to The Besieiged Residents of Leningrad

This decoration was conferred upon those people who lived in Leningrad during the siege of 1941-1944 for four months or more.
The medal was stamped at the mint with a design by artist SA Kornilov on a round brass base 27mm in diameter. The medals obverse shows the image of a broken ring against the background of the Main Admiralty, a tongue of fire, a laurel bough and a legend which reads ‘900 days, 900 nights’
The medals reverse has an image of the hammer and sickle and the legend’ To the Residents of Besieged Leningrad’
From 30th April 1990, the recipients of the badge are considered equal to those who fought in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-45

Opinions of this type 98 Shin gunto

I recently picked this up. I was curious as to the experts opinions on it. I know that it is a factory made blade. The seller stated it was signed by Kanemune. I’m on my phone and I am unable to rotate the tang to the correct position. I checked through Dawson’s book online and I believe I identified the Kanji as Kanemune as well, except I couldn’t figure out the top Kanji on it. I don’t see a date.
