Is there anyway to date this? It has areas on both sides to be attached like a banner.18.7 KB16.9 KB

Dinky Spitfire 719

After getting the Dinky Stuka many years ago, finally I got purchase the Dinky Spitfire 719.

Both the Spitfire and it’s inner box are in excellent condition.

All those years back, Christmas 1969, the Spitty and Stuka were great Christmas presents and I had hours of fun playing with them.

After seeing the "Battle of Britain" film at the cinema, I could only dream about getting these toys for Christmas.

How many times I shot the Stuka down with the Spitty :D, I had great fun, over and over again.

Now that I have both of them together, after all those years, brings back long forgotten memories.

Thanks Mum cool militaria

Need help! Gas masks

Hey gents

Got these 2 gas masks, M38 the rubber and M30 the canvas I assume and wanted to know more if possible about them. Is the rubberized common or the canvas one ?

I cant seem to find information about some manufacturer’s code like clf on the interior, or "btc" / "hsr" on the nozzle.

Both of them are latewar 1944 issued and I cant seem to be able to fit the rubberized one in the higher container lol … doing something wrong but wont fold properly to be insrted.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Rear Seam M1 Pacific Camo with Red Cross

I haven’t posted here in a while and I just picked this up from a buddy who is liquidating his massive collection. This one is a rear seam M1 with what I think is a period applied camo scheme that probably would have been used in the Pacific. It has a subtle red cross on the front as was often seen in the Pacific theater. Inexplicably, it is paired with a low pressure Hood Rubber liner, but this was in the shell when the prior owner acquired the piece at one of the Stratford Connecticut guns shows in the early ’80’s. H has owned the piece ever since. Anyway, here it is, hope you like it. Jim G.
