Need help! Krim Shield validation Krim Shield #1

Good afternoon once again folks,

I have been sorting through several of my Third Reich items over the past few weeks and along with doing my own research as well as the much appreciated assistance from some very informed and knowledgeable collectors on this forum I have been able to identify mostly original items with a few reproductions that have been pulled from my items that I will be giving to my son.

As mentioned I have several campaign shields that I am not 100% sure of and since I have spent the past 2 days or so looking through hundreds of pictures and reading hundreds of posts and comments, I am not comfortable determining that I do have reproductions.

This is the first of 2 Krim shields that I have and I believe this is an original shield. The core and badge and back plate are both magnetic. I have read in a few places that original shields were magnetic, but I have also read that non metallic metals were used in the production so the conflicting information is rather confusing to me. So I would rather hear it from those who are more experienced as to what the factual information on these shields are..

Need help! West riding T6 shoulder title

always wanted to add one of these to the collection as this was the battalion which a lot of the lads from my village served in, I took a pop at this one online and now have it in hand, what was worrying after a quick google after the event and half the militaria dealers on the web seem to have them making me think they must be making copies. have added some pics for comparision with a rare cadet version of the title Im sure this is the real deal, it was given to me by an eldery lady in the 1970s it had been one of her brothers also some photos of him too.
the titles both seem to be the same weight and the T6 title is quite solid, does not bend like some copies seem to do, on the plus side if it is a copy i only paid half of what most dealers are charging for theirs !.
cheers, John.

Need help! Free French Resistance Captured German Helmet

I found this German Helmet that appears to be captured & reused by the Free French Resistance. Unfourently I didn’t get to take good pictures today but I can probably upload better ones later. Was this a common thing for resistance fighters to do with captured German Helmets as I’ve never seen one before?

I know the dealer well and he runs a very amazing store & is very trustworthy, but I’ve never come across an example of this before so any second opinions are much appreciated!

My new lufwaffe Signals cap: Marke Standard Extra Klasse

I think there are not a lot of collectors among us that do not fall for the looks of a marke standard visor cap. Unfortunatly most of the time cheap ersatz material was used to compose the sweatband (in contrast to the high end quality for the other components). Sometimes they appear with leader sweatbands , I was Lucky enough to find one of them at a reasonable price :) enjoy!

Need help! Wooden plate Flughafen-Bereichskommando Lille 1942

A friend of mine is selling this plate and I was thinking about buying it.

It says:
Kdo. Flgh. Ber. Lille
Kriegsweihnacht 1942

I thought it stands for:
Kommando Flughafen Bereichs, or basically Flughafen-Bereichskommando?

What is your opinion? Is it correct what it says? What did this part of the Luftwaffe exactly do?

for sale Transitional M16 DD Heer with camo band

by: Schwerpunkt

Description: This is an Austrian shell that was re-used by the Germans after the anschluss. The liner is dated 1939 and the chinstrap has an RB nbr (reichsbetriebsnr). 2 very decent decals. The camo band is made from dust goggle straps most probably, they are elastic but of course over time it lost a lot of elasticity.
It’s a rare set , I have never come across a similar example.
Accepted payment only via wire , location of the object : Belgium.
