Question SSH-40 Opinion needed!
Hello comrades! I am new to this forum and currently looking to purchase this helmet, however need your opinion whether it’s a war time or post war. Looks all good to me, but any feedback would be highly appreciated

Late 1942 us mp’s liner
HI Guys
This turned up in a auction house in the uk it came with a British BD jacket and beret ( might show these later ) its made by Westinghouse it has the galvanised steel triangular washer with raw ends on the neck suspension band which dates it from late 1942 the paint is old some regt numbers can be seen on the liner band and the top of the liner steve
