Odd MG34/42 assault drum markings
Maybe some of the experts on here can help me out with what I have. I picked this up a number of years ago, when i removed some of the post war Yugo paint I found a circle with a bird in it and 40/03988e. Also the door is different, it has a spring loaded door instead of the sliding type.

SS Belt buckle for review
Hi all
an SS belt buckle, in the same auction as a load of (dodgy) SS collar tabs, but is this any good? What research I have done suggests that this maker was not faked.
Also, it’s got a named collection as provenance.
It’s described as an SS EM/NCO’S BELT BUCKLE BY OVERHOFF & CIE (RZM 36/40 SS) PRODUCED 1940 injection moulded aluminium.
What do you think? I’ve had about two cool militaria’s and three notcool’s
