IJA Type 90

I was quite pleased to be able to finally add a IJA T 90 to my collection and with the help of a friend and fellow collector who did some translating he was able to discern the soldiers name was Fujisawa and he served with the 1st Cavalry Artillery .
Now that I have some details to work with the fun part begins I will have to see if I can find any information on the 1st Calvary and were they may have seen service..
There is a rather interesting anonymity with this particular helmet that was brought to my attention prior to purchase but I will hold off on mentioning it for the time being to see if anyone else can catch it ;)

Regards Mark

Question NS66 M42 - original paint decal?

Hi,
I picked this shell up as part of a batch of original shells that were without original paint that I was going to restore - but this one had me wondering if the paint and decal were original or not? What do you think? (I know the liner, chin strap and liner retaining rivets are repro, but just the shell’s paint and decal I was wondering about.)
Thanks,
Ade

Is this safe?

Apologies if I have posted in the wrong thread.

I run a number of websites relating to the former (WWII) RAF station at Gravesend, Kent. One of the site contributors has found the nose of what I assume is an AA shell - photo attached - and has offered it for display.

My question is - is it safe, is this just a lump of metal - or does it contain explosives and we should be calling-out the authorities?

Any advice appreciated.

Many thanks.

John

KM dagger Alcoso.

Hi guys,
here my new addition, a KM dagger by Alcoso. The dagger is a textbook and a rare variation with an early maker mark, a plain blade and an yellow trollon grip. The Portepee is from neylon. The condition of the dagger is very good.
I hope you like it too.
Best regards
Oleg.

Croatian Foreign Minister Mladen Lorkovic meetings…

How can one locate the log book of official references to meetings of the Foreign Minister to Bulgaria on December 7th-11th 1941 and to Italy on August 4th-10th 1942? was he joining his Prime Minster or were there special events on those dates or consultations?
