Hi All,

Im new here and I’ve read a couple of threads but it seems like the photos I got vs the ones in here and in the guides that I found, I cant seem to conclude if the one being sold (which I wanted to buy) is authentic. Closest I could do is identify it as a Type 95. Maybe you guys here could check it and judge. Sorry for the low quality potato pictures, its just from the original poster.

I saw this helmet at an antique shop and asked the assistant to take out of case for me to check out - all I could see on the tag was a price of $28 so i figured $280 - worth a look - then surprised with a much larger price tag of $2800! So I took opportunity to snap a couple pics of the decals for the forum to check out. Sorry about the blurry helmet and liner shot - was using my cell phone. Chin strap had a date of 1937 and a maker but cant recall.

I purchased these items today, from a dealer, and I’m really liking them. Seller stated the tunic was a summer tunic dated 1942. From reading Nick’s uniform thread, it’s an unissued item due to stamp "B" being blank? I’m assuming the collar insignia was added as a display due to the tunic being unissued. Tunic is made of cotton.

The breechers also came with it and the seller stated it was dated 1944.

I’m still learning so I hope it’s all good? I’m waiting on Mike Hewitt’s book to get here. Screenshots of the items are all I got right now.
