Need help! Interesting Banner Need Info

Hello,
I recently purchased a small collection of 82nd airborne items. This banner along with a Japanese tanto came in the collection. Im not sure what it is, if its military related or if its japanese for that matter. Its extremely well made. Its doible sided hand stitched and embroidered. It weighs almost 8lbs and its not a very large banner. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!1085005

7th Infanty Division “Bayonet Division” Ike jacket

Here is a rather nice condition Ike jacket from WW2. Its from a fellow who served in the 7th ID with ADSEC patch rank of SSGT. As you can see, the jacket still retains the ribbons and EIB with sleeve stripes. Beaded out of Fort Ord California, and was also known as the California Division or Hourglass Division.

Their first taste of war in WW2 was to retake the Aleutian Islands captured by Japan of Attu and Kiska May 11,1943. After that the 7th fought in the Gilbert and Marshall Islands campaign Tarawa. What a "Blood Bath"! Plus Leyte and Okinawa on the Ryukyu Islands chain.

Just a brief overview of the 7th ID during WW2

SA Dagger By Hammesfahr CIE

Hi Guys I want to show you one of my new daggers. I bought this dagger in England by the same guy where I bought my very nice E&F Horster dagger:). The blade is not a minty one but its good enough and allmost all the crossgrain still precent, The overall condition looks also very nice and untouched The Grip has a few little cratches but in perfect condition with no cracks or chips also the Clear Eagle and SA button are very nice. also the scabbard looks nice with almost all lacquer present.

Enjoy the pics any comment is welcome.

French Tap 56

Thought I might share a couple of pics of the newest addition to my little family I :) have been after one of these to compliment the Para/Airborne side of my collection forever..
The French Para’s and the FFL have always intrigued me so I was quite ecstatic to add this TAP 56 to my collection it has a great patina and shows just the right amount of wear as I like them used and not abused…

Regards Mark
