Soviet glass canteens ?

Hey peeps

It happened I came across someone selling some old pharma glass bottles and I believe 2 of them are soviet glass cantens. Could anyone with a trained eye in this sector shed some light on this please ? Am I really looking at 2 glass 1940 soviet canteens ? Thank you kindly.

Need help! Heer Buckle

Hello Friends,

I saw this buckle on Craigslist near me and wondered what you thought? These are the only two pictures I have. Please give me your opinions. $79.00.

Thanks,

Need help! Kriegsverdienstkreuz Klasse 1. for review

Hi guys

This KVK1 with swords, if original, is a pretty rare version.

I know by researching over the last while that there was indeed an unknown maker KVK1 that had similar hardware.

I’m hoping some knowledgeable soul will help me out. Apologies if you can’t zoom the images, they were plucked from cyberspace.

Thanks in advance

Question Sten Mk II, Old Spec

( Reposted in the correct sub-forum with better pics. Apologies for the hassle! )

A British-made Sten Mk II, deactivated in accordance with UK standards. Purchased this one just before the EU hammer came down, having always wanted one, and not being able to stand deacs that are all welded up. From what I can tell, it’s a very early Fazakerley manufactured example, with the low serial number FA 72705.
There are a couple of markings on it that I’m unfamiliar with, and that I do wonder about. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light as to what these broad arrows on the trigger guard and stock mean? One appears to be a ‘U’, the other a ‘J’. Do these represent service in different countries, or are they simply inspection markings?

Much appreciated, BB.

Adolf Hitler 49th birthday commemorative stamp

Luftwaffe 2nd pattern E.u.F. Horster

Hello Everyone,

Firstly and very importantly I would like to offer my thanks to forum member Ger Hessels for finding this lovely addition
to my collection. Lord knows what I would have ended up with if left to my own devices! :)
I thought it was high time I dipped my little toe into the interesting world of daggers.
It goes without saying I am very pleased, and one final thanks to forum star Ger.

Interesting Manual Lot Named to Officer

I though that I would share these manuals that I came across in a book shop the other day. They are named to Captain/Major Jacob Lienhard USMC. I have found some information online about him, but any additional background would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tom
