Here is a HQ disk for the III battalion of the 290th infantry regiment, part of the 98th infantry division. This battalion was disbanded after the battle for Moscow due to such high casualties.

Hi all.

SS helmets are not my cup of tea, but I have an opportunity with this helmet and would like some opinions. I think the photos are pretty good considering the seller is an older individual using an outdated camera in a room with modest lighting. I realize the photo of the underside is missing. I’m trying to get it, but in the meantime would like opinions on the exterior (decals of coarse).

Unfortunately for me there are very few military/antique shops near me. I’ve bought items off of The Collector’s Guild and eBay, but those are the only online sites I’ve used to buy items, as I know it can be risky. Does anyone know any other good, trustworthy sites that sell German WW2 items? Thanks!

Hello all. New to this. I have a dagger I received from my grandfather and I was told it was not real. My grandfather said he got it after the war. Can anyone tell me if this is real or not and what it’s value is? I am told it is post war production. Does that make it not real? Thanks to any info that would help me understand what I have.
