Hi all,

Some photos of a nice 1940 dated tan P08 Luger holster I have in the collection.

This one is manufactured by R. (Richard) Ehrhardt Lederwarenfabrik of Pössneck, Thüringen.

It is named to Jäger Elling, who was a Fallschirmjäger, there was a named belt and buckle that originally came
with the 08 holster, but sadly it was split up and sold before I could obtain the belt/buckle, and that was also
named to Jäger Elling with his Fallschirmjäger rank on it.

I can’t make out the WaA number on it, I think they changed it a few times, so not sure what the 1940 stamp would have been.

Well, this sort of counts as "equipment"…

This is a pewter, quart ale mug inscribed "Wing Commander A.C. Stone, RCAF Overseas, 1942-1944". I bought it for the inscription but, now that I’ve started researching it, I’m surprised to discover that the mug itself was already over 100 years old by the time WWII even began. I love history!

Anyway, just thought some of you might like to see this.

I have some new pictures that I would like all of you to look at and comment on. I have a very clear "DRP Thale A" stamp on the rear and a newly seen "X C" or "X O"stamp on the left ear inside. Of course I am the most interested in what you think of the decals. Can you give an explanation of the paint? It looks like some of the black paint is scratched off and there is brownish?orange primer paint. There is some white paint but I think it is on top of the black. All four pins are present but nothing left of the liner or frame. The guy I got it from is 56 and has had it 25 years. He got it form a neighbor who brought it back from Germany. Neighbor last name was Kuhn he said. Enjoy the pictures. I will be anxious to receive your responses.

And a couple of pictures of the camo. The brown paint is difficult to get on the picture. Line is damaged, but I like the camo. Also I have a weak spot for named helmets. Hope you also like it dispite condition issues
