Been trying for quite a while to identify thew signature on this special SS issued Diplomatic visa from July 1940, early stages of the occupation.
The ending seems to be "…mann" if I am not wrong?
And from another passport, around 1940 this individual was serving in Holland, any way to find out more about his duties?
Only the experts here can finally shed some light…

Hi, my k98 scabbard has no number on it, just a stamp on the extension where it locks the frog ?

There is H34 stamped on it, someone nows what this means ?

Hello Gents,
I have been away a while. I have always wanted one of these but prices always seemed prohibitive, Picked it up at a yard sale. You can see the layers of dust and dust bunnies from hanging out in an active for a really long time.

I really like the overall saltines, It was a bring back and the vet stamped it with him name and town with a black ink stamp in 3 places but doesn’t detract from it greatly.

plan on using this for staring at the moon ect,

All optics are clear, lenses knobs all work as they should.

there is a crack in the metal which holds the rubber view rest in place ( rubber is in great condition)
Next to find a salty base box ect.

Once I do some light dusting ect will repost

Found this "beauty" some fool had sent me many a moon ago in a box of junk I was clearing out of my storeroom. It was So Bad, I had to keep it just for the amusement. I have no clue what it’s made out of, but it’s Marked inside with "830S" ! I Think I have a skillet that’s made of the same material this glorious relic is…I particularly like the awesome phony aging they gave it..It even has "wear" to the teeth and has the "bone joint" on the shaft in the back. IF the maker would have at Least made it from actual Silver, he might have had a chance at fooling some naive collector, but stainless steel/alloy/?? Uhh..nope…sorry,cheapskate! You blew it! But, at least we know what the fakers think of Westerner’s intelligence…Anybody want a fine piece of bling? Drop me a line!

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this is the wrong section for this.

Long story short.

I inherited a few bits some years back and I’d forgotten about them until recently.

I never had the chance to ask my grandfather about his time in the army as he passed away many years ago and so did my grandmother.

All I really know is that when he came back from Germany to the UK, he brought some bits with him. According to my mother, he also brought back a German officers coat but my grandmother mistakenly through it out.

I’d be very happy if someone could tell me what I’ve got here as my knowledge on this stuff is pretty much non-existent.
