Hey all, a guy was offering this as a post war put together blade. I assume from parts. His picture taking skills have something to be desired for sure. I guess it would appeal to an entry level collector perhaps. I traded my heer dagger so looking for a replacement. Thanks for any advice you can offer on this one

Hello all! I purchased this piece at auction today and wanted to get some thoughts on it’s authenticity. I feel comfortable that it is of period. It appears to be on heavy parchment paper and shows signs of genuine age and wear, foxing, etc. The stampings are clean and bold. The calligraphy is well executed and shows signs of overlapping strokes and indications of it being done by hand. I read that A.H could of possibly signed these documents 1939 and previous? But in honesty I ve never studied nor researched these pieces so the journey begins here. Could it possibly be signed by A.H? and if someone could help with the other signature as well please? As always any help is greatly appreciated. My thanks in advance.

Hello, i need your help with clarifying topic of early german bread bags 1935-1939 made for Heer. I know they were made from grey cloth, had leather strenghtens on carrying straps and all metal parts were made from aluminium. But my question is about colour of the leathers. I found early bread bags with leathers painted on greenish colour (most of them) and early bread bags with naturally brown leather. There were no rules about colour of the leathers? Some opinions say that bread bags with greenish leathers were made for heer and those with naturally brown leathers were made for RAD or police - is that true? Or mayby brown leathers were also made for Heer?
