Heer infantry schellenberg visor

Hi all

My finger is hovering over the PayPal button to buy this visor.

As it would be my first one I would love for your opinions on it to its make up and authenticity. I’m in the uk and it’s in the US so I can’t see it in person. Am in contact with the seller who seems to be genuine.

It looks good to me, and looks to have the similar markings as the other schellenberg LW visors I’ve seen on the site. The sweatband looks to have a good age to it as does the lining. The doe skin looks ok to me too. Please correct me if I’m wrong!

Thanks in advance
Tim

Late war coconut canteen

Hello fellow members,

Just showing my newest acquisition, a late war coconut canteen in very good condition. The flask itself dates from 1943.

The webbing is revited! (not sewn) and dated 1945. The red cup is repainted in green and dated 1945. The carabiner is from Ritter, dated 1944.

The front strips of the webbing are quite thin, still the hole webbing is made of one piece.

Quite the Haul! What would you all like to see detailed pictures of first?

Hey folks,

I went to pick up that SS dagger (It’s quite nice and I will be posting pictures of it shortly), and while I was there, the guy expressed interest in getting out of the hobby. Given that I have spent the "medium bucks" with him as of late, he gave me a "I’d be crazy not to buy it" price on all of this stuff. I’ve posted some very simple overhead shots of the items, and those here that know me know that I pride myself on taking good quality images that the forum can benefit from. Thus, please excuse the marginal overhead long shots, as I’m just posting this here to figure out what folks would like to see first in detail. It’s going to take me quite sometime to photograph all of this stuff, but I most certainly will for the good of the forum.

Mods, feel free to move this thread to a more appropriate sub-forum, but I figured with the mish-mosh of items, I’d post it here.

Enjoy!
