Good evening and Happy Easter to everybody…i was offered to buy a Heer dagger marked by Zeitler Wien. He’s into the producer list of heer daggers but i’ve never seen one before(only luft dagger and boot knives). I know that the pics are not the best but ,waiting for new pics,do you think it’s all ok?? (the price asked is too high i suppose) :D
many thanks

Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen Bronze ??

Hello

What are your thoughts on this IAB?
It is not marked.
It still retains some of the bronze finish.
Thank you for your help

Deutsche koppelschlösser 1800-1945 book

I have wanted to get a good reference book about buckles so i bought this. And I think it was a good buy. Maybe later on i will hunt down the buckle book written by Peter Nash and /or an Assman reprint (suggested by Mr. Saris).

Unknown badge

Hello everyone.

I picked up an interesting little badge that l know absolutely nothing about and am hoping for a little information. I am posting it in the Third Reich area as well as the Imperial area hoping to generate an answer.

What I know:

I picked it up in Murfreesboro,TN area on Monday at an antique store. What caught my interest was the subject matter. With the heavy oak leaf and acorn motif with in the open wreath it made me think Germany. Also the construction reminds me of Luftwaffe and Kreigsmarine badges of the time. I figure by the hardware alone someone would be able to tell me who manufactured it.

I do not know the significance of the 151 , maybe a unit number or such…

Anyway, fire away…. let me know what your thoughts are…

Thanks,

Hummel
