Anyone out there familiar with this unit? I know Finsterwalde was an air base but I would not have thought a Landwher company would be the security? Any suggestions?

This has no marks and looks t/b from the ’20s maybe even earlier. The safety pin suggests u.s., but design looks euro to me. Please someone id it, thanks a lot.
