Opinion on M16 German helmet(s)

Hello guys,

I’m new to the forum here, thanks for having me.

I have been looking for a German WW1 helmet a few months now but my knowledge is very limited on this subject…

I would like some expert advice if possible before I spend hundreds of euros on an item that is not 100% historically correct.
I hear and read alot about how some helmets are aged really good so you can hardly tell it’s original,or the paint isn’t original, etc… I don’t see it…

The first one is for sale for 700 euro

Thank you

With kind regards

Kukke

SS dog plaque

I accuired this one today. I´m in the process of narrowing down my extensive collection of different WW2 items I have collected since my childhood (and mainly in my youth). I would appreciate any comments regarding the plaque. Dog handling competitions by the SS in general etc.

Best, Jan

Canteen

Hi. Thanks for looking at this Canteen. It is quite mint with no makers mark on the canteen/cup or felt. The strap is marked and it appears to have been on the set for a long time. I believe that it is a period canteen, but this isn’t really my area, so would like opinions to confirm that it is not post war. Thanks.106753610675371067538106753910675401067541106754110675421067543106754410675451067546106754710675481067549

Looking for ME 109 cockpit parts!

I am currently looking for ME 109 cockpit parts! Anything of interest especially canopys etc!! best Undu

Need help! Polizei Ehrenzeichen, 18 jahre oder 25 jahre?

I have had this Police cross since last year. When I bought it, it was described as an 18yr service cross and therefore would be silver.

It was grubby/heavily patina’d so today I gave it a light clean and now that some of the dirt has been removed I am unsure whether it is an 18 year cross as it looks a bit gold in colour.

Might it be a 25 or is it still an 18yr that is just tarnished?

Thanks
