I picked these up the other day and have been trying to ID the camp?
No writing on the backs of the pictures to help ID the camp.
The photos are about 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 . (very small pics)
How rare are these types of photographs?

Hello everyone,

I know this is the right place to ask for some expert’s opinions. I’ll start by saying that I’m not really an expert about this badge, but you might help me. What would you say about this Italian pilot’s badge of the Regia Aeronautica? To be honest I like the patina and the details a lot and at first glance I’d say it’s a good worne exemplary. However, I am not convinced at all when looking at the left hook, which misses a piece. I won’t hide the fact that this particular is puzzling me a lot. Last but not least, if original, how would you rate it’s worth? thank you a lot in advance for your precious help.

I am pleased to announce that the long awaited definitive collectors handbook on the iconic 4-cornered Polish Army visor hat, the Rogatywka, is well underway. The author, Robert Kolberg, is presently scouring museums and collections in Poland to find the best surviving examples of pre-war, exile period and post war rogatywki along with any and all associated materials and ephemera to provide a thorough and comprehensive study on the topic. He invites forum members and collectors to contribute examples from their collections for possible inclusion:

Anyone wishing to assist by contributing interesting examples from their collection that may have non-typically marked visors, hats, sweat bands and also period advertisements, photos of hat maker facilities, purchase receipts, etc. please contact me.

At the moment I am in Poland researching and visiting museums in order to gather as many examples of caps and materials on this topic as I can locate.
