Here’s your chance to own an incredible Luftwaffe Officer’s dagger with aluminum fittings. What makes this one really special is the slight red/pink streak going through the center of the front of the handle. Considering the strange hue of the grip, and the contrast of the bright aluminum against the other components really makes this one stick out. This piece shows honest wear and period use. The handle does have some minor imperfections like some small chips and minor flaws but the wire is nice and tight. With the exception of some very light surface rust to the shell of the scabbard, it is without any major isses and is ding and dent free. The best part about this setup is the blade and I would rate the cross grain on this one as excellent.

Description: Hello all,

Here’s your chance to own a really nice SA dagger by Hörster. This piece shows honest wear and period use with some plating loss to the fittings. The blade is the best part about this one and the cross grain would rate at excellent. A nice tight fit and all the components are absolutely original to one another. There is some oxidation to the eagle as can be seen in the photos but not a big deal and may clean up if so desired. About a third of the way up from the tip of the scabbard is a very small dent but other than that it is in good shape and has virtually all of the paint on it still. Last but not least is the RZM M5/25 marked leather dagger hanger by Christian Theodor Dicke of Lüdenscheid which is a nice added bonus!

The mustard yellow colored grip is really striking on this example though there is a small chip or two near the pommel. Loaded with patina and overall the dagger has aged very nicely. With the exception of some very light surface rust to the shell of the scabbard, it is without any major flaws and is ding and dent free. The blade is the best part about this rig is the blade with it’s textbook dark Eickhorn squirrel logo and I would rate the cross grain at excellent.

I am extremely happy to announce, that a deal between another collector and myself
was achieved in order to further enhance my Rad / Fad collection of buckles..

I am in Newark, NJ at the moment :weep: and will post detailed pics when I arrive home in a few days.. This is a not often if ever ?? Encountered buckle.. I don’t think it is even on the list of "Known" makers in the Rad / Fad database on our site.. It is finds like this this that keeps me going to enhance my collection in the hope that there are other unknown makers just waiting to be found or makers that have not been seen.. I plan on attending a few of the larger shows this year in my search… I also hope to meet fellow members that attend the SOS / MAX venues
