Question Waffenampt stamp
Was cleaning my Femaru (Frommer) 37m and noticed a code on the trigger guard. WAA173? I may be wrong. Any ideas of the meaning? Thanks guys.

Description: Senior Eickhorn Forestry cutlass in great shape.
Its funny to see that the etch in common daylight is black but when seen in sunlight its completely grey/silver.
The etch looks great and is in good condition, its not mint a few stains it has, but it comes pretty close, goldwash on fittings is superb.
The gripplates are the common celluloid ones with all acorns in place, comes with a nice hanger.
Lovely set for a good price.

What are your thoughts on this Helmet.

Droop Bill?
It looks and feels like a lightweight Parade helmet?
The rivets look replaced ( bristol).
The liner looks like a late war luftschutz liner?
