Hi all,

I recently acquired this pretty RAD shoulder patch. Called ‘Armelabzeichen’ or ‘armelspaten’ (lit. ‘arm spade’) in German.

I believe it is a leaders patch, more specific: Gau-fuhrer or Gau-Leiter. This one being for Gau XXI. If any of you have more knowledge of these types of patches, pictures of them in wear, I’d be happy to see your comments. I find this patch hard to find on the web but found two links:

Hello all,
Picked up a 1943 dated NR-40 for not too much I think. Would like to ask if I can be comfortable with its originality. The knife looks good to me but the scabbard looks too clean and from other photos I’ve seen I’m not sure about the rivet in the leather? The knife weighs 104 grams which I think is approximately correct for an original. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,

Today I am looking at buying this Imperial German Battle Flag. It is unfinished so it only measures 25×15 inches. I know that there are a ton of fakes out there, and this one being unfinished only makes it harder to tell, so I am asking for your opinions on whether it is authentic or not. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

i have a question. Do you ever have seen 2 part officer cockades (Prussia, Oldenburg, Würtemberg, …) made out of metal? I mean the backplate of the cokade is normaly made from painted cardboard. I have bought a cockade some time ago and attached it to a visorcap. Now i saw its made 100% of metal, do you saw this on any orginal authentic visorcaps or are these 100% after 1918? I will link a picture of my cockade but at the moment attached to the cap.

I would like to ask your honest opinion on these Latvian Waffen SS collar tabs.
I’ve seen the runes before on a ground dug, but a collector said the backing on this pair is wrong.
So one begins to question the whole piece.
