SS War Poster

I bought this one a while back. I am currently looking for a nice frame to hang this one up next to my favorite Russian propaganda poster. 10497641049763104976210497611049760104975910497581049757

Need help! Found in my attic

Not real sure about it’s history, but I found what seems to be a Hitler youth pennant on a small black flag, double sided. The flag itself is about 9 3/4" in length. Also, how do I upload a photo haha. Sorry, not much of a computer whiz and I don’t see an attachment button here, I’m on my cellphone ..

Tom’s Yard Sale Sword

Hi Guys,

Tom’s still working on his "Cosmoline" sword photos so I thought I’d start a separate thread for his other sword which I’ll refer to as the "Yard Sale" sword. As you all know taking blade pics isn’t easy so I’ll start with two of the nakago and when others come available will add to the thread for him.

Anyone able to assist with translation till then, please and thank you?

Regards,
Stu

for sale Early Q64 DD Luftwaffe Helmet Lot #247

by: maximus71

Description: For sale is a very early Q64 DD Luftwaffe helmet, Helmet retains about 75% of its original blue/grey finish, Eagle decal is the early bird and rates about 75% with scuffs, national decal is about 70% with scuffs and a nice laquer toning. single band aluminum liner which is original to the helmet, the liner band is broken just foward of the right chinstrap bale which was common for these early ones. the leather liner is in fair/worn condition with considerable dryness and chaffing. The shell is stamped Q64 and lot number 247 which is the lowest number I’ve ever seen, this must have been a really early one!!! it has that been there look and comes with a COA from WW2 German Helmets which is where I purchased it a few years back. I hate to let it go but I am funding for another purchase. Please PM me with any questions or if you need more photo’s. All sales are final, no returns or refunds.

USA shipping address only, or ask before you buy.

Paypal preffered.

Thank you for looking.

Ramc at Arnhem - trailer markings

I am putting the finishing touches to a restoration of my AB trailer and have marked it with the white 117 on black square to denote the 181 A/L Field Ambulance. Not least because this unit also came here to Oslo after VE day and set up a hospital to treat ex POWs and slave labourers.
What I am wondering is whether RAMC trailers had any form of Red Cross markings to signify their use and maybe also to spare these and their contents from direct attack and destruction.
So far I have not been able to find any photos or direct references even though reading several books on Arnhem and trawling the web for photos.

Or maybe even, the 101 A/L Fld Amb might not have had their own trailers only jeeps ?

Also, it seems to me from other photos that the AB trailers generally at Arnhem did not show the white allied star ?

Any advice gratefully received.
