My first go at buying an SA dagger
I swithered on whether or not to go ahead and buy an SA dagger however, I took the plunge and I think, for my first SA dagger, I could not have done better. Hopefully the photographs do it some justice, it really is a topper.
A G Felix Gloriawerk, early, nickel plated dagger.
It has a cherry colour wooden handle is in mint condition, with no signs that the tang nut has been undone. The button and the eagle are nice and bright.
The lower crossguard is marked "Wm" and the owner has inscribed his number on the lower cross guard and the scabbard.
The blade is beautiful, it retains much of its black etching and the cross graining is very nice (I have altered one photo to try and show some).
