Here’s my newest addition to my collection, I rescue this from a local pawn shop for $125, it belong to a friend of mine who has had it since he was a kid, it was giving to him by his grand father from what I was told and he had to sell a few items to pay some bills and he forgot I collected helmets, it’s a se64 luffwaffe helmet lot #0091, it came with original liner band but no split pins, I will get more info about it next time I see him but here she’s is

When it is too cold outside to do anything I decided to redo my collection. Now every spange has its own label, instead of mutiples over one label. I will work on the rest of the collection later.

Evening all,
Picked up these two 37esque bags this morning, don’t know what they are though…..
1) pictures 1 and 6: satchel (15,1/2in x 11in x 3,1/2in); no markings, something missing from the 2inch shoulder strap, double cloth reinforcement in the base, beaded seams (thought it might be Canadian at first).

2) pack, 6,1/2in x 14 or 7in x 12in; "WA6880", grommeted base, two holes in side covered by poppered flap, ……..
Clearly it is 2 packs sewn together, but I’ve got everything I need to turn it back to one in original form (including the backpad missing from the base)……. So I’d like to know what it was, and check that this isn’t a military modification?
