Need help! Portrait of Adolf Hitler

Good afternoon
This portrait was locked in a safety deposit box.
As you can see from letter in picture was a souvenir sent from Oldenburg from a post office from Doug to his brother.
Trying to establish who may have painted it as cannot see a signature and were they painted on mass for public areas.
Have been left a few pieces and would be grateful of any help.

Need help! Allgemeine-SS Sleeve Diamonds

Hello!
I was wondering which career & trade sleeve diamonds were worn by members of the Allgemeine-SS? Did members of the Allgemeine-SS wear the same career insignia as their counterparts in the Waffen-SS? Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated, as I have been desperatley searching and have been unable to find a good source.

Many thanks!

Question STORMTROOPER Badge

Yes, i know that these are heavly faked world wide, but this one is coming from a lets say ”known militaria shop”, so i was wondering about it. At first sight , looks a bit better than the average Poland products, but i’ve also saw several of those faked badges having a details level above an original one. So, considering that i’m after something like that for quite some time (in order to give it as gift to someone from my family, which was a Sturmtruppen) i would really like just a bit of help about it. I found out that it would be more easy to scroe a Stormtrooper kappenbaziechen insetad of a badge (and also this kind of badge, the most faked). The research of this Storm badge eventually made me buy (for my collection) a Sturmesser M17….and i wasn’t necessarily after it :)

Many thanks in advance.

Period memorial book on the Battle of Attu

I am quite interested in the Aleutian campaign, and it is a focus of my collection. I have three (possibly four) helmets from this campaign, including two that are named. I have always wanted to research these, so when I saw this book on Ebay, I jumped on it. Almost all of the soldiers that participated in the battle are pictured. Each picture has name, rank, and address attached. While most of the soldiers came from Hokkaido, there are a number from a sprinkling of other prefectures in Japan

I would love to have a translation of the entire book, which has several pages of narrative. A fellow collector is helping me to try and narrow down the soldiers that my helmets may have belonged to. Those surnames are Higuchi and Hanada. We have found 5 soldiers named Higuchi, and when my helper returns from business travel he will help me search for Hanada.

Has anyone seen this book before? How rare is it?

Thanks,

Scott

Heer dagger prices?

Hello guys! I’ve been collecting k98k mausers for many years but now I want to start to get into collecting other WWII Germany and American memorabilia

What should I try to pay for a common Heer dagger in good condition? I know there are different makers and I just want a common maker… What should be my goal price wise?

Also whats a good maker to look for (one that is common and not faked much as in reproductions, is there a maker that is faked a lot?)

Thanks for all the help guys
