So, I bought this water canteen skeleton recently and I have this water canteen that I’ve bought on a separate occasion. The problem is this:

As you can see below, the webbing appears to be not long enough or something like that…..

So is it a some kind of defect in the skeleton or the problem lies in the water canteen? Thanks

Since the town of Leicester in the UK offered me the opportunity to continue my studies in a Master’s level in the field of Museum Studies and since I found the connection between the regiment and the Battle of Crete (my home island) I figured it would be a nice thing to do if I created a small tributal display with some items I found in local sellers.
I hope you like it and I would appreciate if anyone has any photographes depicting the various insignia on soldiers’ uniforms…

I am looking for any information on the attached medals. My Grandfather passed away in October at the age of 93. I never got the chance to go through with him what they were so any help would be greatly appreciated

As another International Holocaust Remembrance Day arrives, i.e. today, 27th January, the world remembers the worst crime in modern history. However, despite the day marking the 72nd liberation of the Auschwitz camps, the day also marks ALL other camps, ghettos and related sites throughout the Nazi Germany period. At the very least, well over one million people were killed at Auschwitz, yet despite even this shocking statistic, it is but a fraction of the total lives wiped out during the persecution of Jews, Roma, Sinti, non-Jewish Poles, Homosexuals, Jehovah Witnesses, Asocials and other groups deemed unworthy by the regime. If we do not remember all who suffered, we fail not only them but also ourselves.
