I recently picked up a collection from a former Chaplain in his 80’s that spent 14 years in Germany. Within his daggers, he had this and I am quite puzzled by it. The cross guard appears to be a WKC fitting and almost looks like it’s been scrubbed with steel wool. The blade also looks like it could have been polished or did Asso just have a very shallow logo?

Is this Polish Nagant holster, ink stamp PP (Policja Państwowa - Polish national Police, or Poczta Polska - Polish Post Security guard) dated April 1939, 100% original Prewar, please ?
It is made by Spolka Polskich Rymarzy i Siodlarzy w Warszawie, the majority of their products were made Postwar.
It has quite a few wear marks on the inside main flap.
I have attached the photographs.
Thank you very much, in advance.
I look forward to reading your knowledgable opinions.

I recently picked up a collection from a former Chaplain in his 80’s that spent 14 years in Germany. Within his daggers, he had this and I am quite puzzled by it. The fittings appear to be correct to the handle and neither insignia in the handle have been removed or replaced. The fittings look like they’ve almost been scrubbed with steel wool. Is the scabbard correct for a transitional WKC piece? Obviously you can see the handle is painted black, but why is this? I had this at the Max and a few people I showed it to mentioned that it may be SA-Marine related, is there any validity to that statement?

Which is putting me in a financial bind and something has to go, and my "museum items" are under appreciated anyway, languishing under covers, hardly ever looked at, even by me.
Look in the Classifieds, you’ll see some Luftwaffe items, would rather sell that as a group. A late war SS buckle with correct late war belt, another nice belt/buckle (Heer), possibly some Police items, haven’t fully decided on those…
Also a Heer Artillerie M-44 tunic with gorgeous period accouterments, correct late war belt/buckle, 7×50 Dienstglas with case, Close Combat Badge, Black Wound Badge, and stunning issue cap, everything has been vetted here.
Possibly an M40 or single decal M42 helmet, one of the two may or must go.
An empty gas mask can with straps, 1944 dated, probably used as a "possibles bag" by its "previous user"…
Really nice Russian Front Fur Cap, nice Heer eagle, great example!
An early war pair of Zeiss 6×30 Dienstglas, WAFFEN PROOFED, with eyepiece cover and button flap, top notch example of early Dienstglas.
Some misc, a set of Heer hat insignia.
A Helvetia Heer DH issue watch in great running original condition with strap.
Other related items, check back in the Classifieds, I’m doing this as time permits, and if it’s not raining cats and dogs with 50mph winds, I need to be outside doing stuff to get ready for winter, which I fear is coming early here in the Pacific Northwest.
Also have some books, quite a few books…

Description: Hello all,
Here’s your chance to pick up a handmade NSDAP flag. This multi-piece construction example is very early production in my opinion and is of excellent quality.
