Question MK2 N°2C “Fire Parties”

Morning everyone,
I show you the latest addition to my collection, it is this Homefront MK2 N°2C "Fire Parties/Patrol:
shell: JSS II 1941
liner: FH II 1941
the internal and external color is still the original "gray".
I thought it interesting that unlike other helmets N°2C, this example has the three holes present on one side only.
My questions, for which I ask your help are:
-What is the exact meaning of "FP" (Fire Party, Fire Parties, Fire Patrol ..?)
-The three holes present on one side only have a meaning or is only a characteristic of this maker?
-Who is the liner maker with initials "FH"?
As always every your opinion is very welcome and I thank you in advance for any help.

Charioteer Captain Bob Montgomery MC has Passed

Sad news yesterday, Captain Bob Montgomery MC passed away Thursday morning 20th October 2016

He was a veteran of the St.Nazaire Raid, a Captain with the RE, attached to the Special Service Brigade.

RIP.

Also last Friday another veteran of the raid has passed away Leading Motor Mechanic Jack Pryde

Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 9 Reichswehr style officer 4 pocket tunic

I picked this nice early Reichswehr style officer’s 4 pocket tunic up recently, the boards give the unit away,
which is Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 9, which was the Reconnaissance arm of the 9th Panzer Division.

Tunic is for an Oberleutnant, but for some reason, the two pips had been removed, but I found and added
a nice gilt pair of pips to restore it back to the rank of Oberleutnant.

The jacket has a superbly toned down early breast eagle with a high silver content, which has tarnished down
over the years with a very nice aged patina now.

Only loops are for a short ribbon bar, which I have added (it didn’t come with the jacket), my guess is that this
officer was possibly badly wounded or perhaps killed in the very early stages of WW2, and this jacket stayed in
a cupboard for the remainder of the war. (just theorizing).

Question Unusual Parade Military Style Belt - IJA or Firebrigade Belt?

Greetings all,
I am trying to figure out what this belt is.
It has many similar characteristics to a military parade sword belt but there is no sign of a sword hanger. There is however what appears to be a bayonet frog or similar (a WWII IJA bayonet fits it perfectly). The buckle has no markings or design.
I think it has some age. The leather is in quite nice condition. It has almost no leather smell left and the hardware looks quite old.
Has anyone else ever seen one like this? Cheers & the very best regards!
