This one seems to me to be a combo of both. It has the first pattern statement with the second pattern’s signature. I have erased the retail site name from the post, but it rhymes with billip-billitaria. Asking price is 75 EUR. They have three of these "rare" crosses.
Thoughts?

I don’t know whether the repair was done on the mainland or at a traveling field repair site, but it’s cool to have an actual example of what I’ve read in books about the field repair groups!

Description: SOLD
SS dagger belonging to SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Werner Thoms. His SS number is 1232 and is engraved on the tang nut along with his initials (WT) on the top. The chain is a Type 1. The background burnishing on the chain links is in beautiful condition. Excellent condition throughout including blade which has a dark motto and most of the original crossgrain. Full documentation and research provided by Ross Kelbaugh. The SS file provided is 98 pages not including Ross’s research file.
An SS dagger in this condition with an extensive SS officer’s file does not come on the market from a private collector very often. Here is your chance to get a first class WWII SS dagger with 98 pages of provenance from a world class researcher.
Are they genuine?
I think that one is a Quist SS and the other a WW1 Camouflage Helmet
Both came from the same source in the UK will be for sale.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Greg
I have seen that exist several suspension for russian medals and in particular for the combat service medal.
I am interested in ww2 medals so sometimes I am in doubt, and I don’t know if they are reals or a later replacement.
Here there are four diferentes types that I have found in the internet.
The first one in my opinion is a later replacement, and the third one I think is correct. The others I am not sure.
Thanks for your help.
Infanterie Sturmabzeichen: Silber
Badge has some imperfections on the eagle, as well on the back, but Im mainly concerned about the eagle. I marked them with red circle, open and zoom in to see better. These kinds of holes, and bubbles appear on the items that were digged out, but as you can see here, they dont appear on the whole badge evenly, which makes me think, this one wasnt found in the ground. How else could you explain it? I could consider a poor quality cast, but this too, I guess should affect entire badge, and not just a fragment.
