Today i was able to finaly complete a tent with 4 Zeltbahne…
I got more then enough Zelts but never was able to get enough original black ropes (Zeltleine) for them….
Today I got enough and even e few more, yes yes !!
I feel lucky!
Maybe I’m not keeping them all because I only need 4 for a complete Zelt…….
Have been out metal detecting and came across these three items. Two are self explanatory, Buffs badge and Royal Engineers. The third is a bit of a puzzle though and not even sure if it is military related.
It is a brass and enameled red cross made by J.A.Gaunt and son Ltd London who made all sorts of badges and buttons, some military. It is numbered and has at one time been fixed to something.
So my question is, has anyone any information what it is and if it was part of a buckle or badge?
Cheers, Mark.
