Some information on an M1 Helmet

So, this is not my usual avenue, but can anyone tell me more than I already know? Perhaps I’ve missed something…..

This is, I believe a late 1943 helmet complete with high pressure liner manufactured by The seaman paper company. In 1943 the fixed bale was replaced in favour of the swivel bale, Up until late 1943 the rim of the helmet was stainless steel with its join at the front. You can clearly see the front seam and the S letter on the liner. It has the letter “S” stencilled in black to the front. And seeing as this is not my cup of tea, I will bow to greater knowledge…….. The liner has blue paint traces all over….Navy?

Thanks

Need help! Finding records for a US Army Captain WW2

I am trying to trace a US Army officer that served during WW2 A Captain Robert Temple service number 34727459 …… With UK records it’s easy but the US ones? I’ve tried and hit a brick wall. I’d rather find a site that doesn’t charge you if possible. I saw a site on here the other day that you could search by service number but I can’t remember where it was………….can anyone help please :)

Important! Tellemutze help

Not sure what it is, I’m guessing postwar with kriegsmarine tally or total reproduction. I’m not sure if a postwar cap would have a kriegsmarine tally as it should be volksmarine I thought, I’m new to German collecting. Any help is appreciated. Sorry for reposting my thread I posted it in the wrong section, i figured this would be better.

SS HBT type tunic

Gentleman,

Appealing for your help here on this tunic that belongs to a friend of mine.

This is not an area I profess to having even the remotest expertise in so would appreciate any help that you can give.

I saw the tunic in person this past weekend. For what it is worth the buttons which are the removable type are only marked H&B (or something similar, I’m forgetting as I get older), with no RZM, SS or other markings.

The tunic is of a cotton HBT type fabric with no flaps on the lower pockets.

This is not the correct forum for insignia but if you have any opinion on the collar tabs would appreciate it as well. I’m sure you will need better photos so if they are not good enough I can try to get more.

So, what do you say? Good or junk?

Help appreciated on this Panzerkampfabzeichen in silver.

Hi all, I have been offered this rather nice looking PAB in silver but I do not know who the maker is…or if it is 100% original, I like the detail in it, it is nice and crisp but am unsure. Any help much appreciated :)
