I recently added this very nice example of a late-war Czechoslovak CZ 27 made for Germany and marked Pistole Modell 27 (t) . Its high serial number 452279 places it at the end of production in late 1944 or 1945 and it has the appropriate thinning phosphate finish. The almost black dark brown grips are only slightly scuffed in a small spot though the CZ mark has been removed. The holster appears to be G.I. made, constructed from the furry flap of a tornister with the fur side out and the olive lining inside. The only "flaw" I can see is the missing safety release button; I wonder if it ever had one - could this have been deliberately left off as "unnecessary"?

Guys, I need some help if you can please……..
I’ve just took in, direct from the Island, a nice, albeit a little "crazed" hooked quillon bayonet, It’s not worth me posting pictures as what I’m asking, cannot be easily seen let along photographed

The top is unit marked, as they usually were, but I’m a bit stumped because it looks like 5 F.V.N. and I cannot find a Regt with those letter abbreviations…. anyone help please
