This is what happened to my EK2 when i pick it for made some photos. The ring is marked "16" , the core is magnetic and the cross appears with some little space between frames. So the question is : it is a genuine one? How can it has gone to break????

Hi All,

Probably a pretty "ho hum" post, but here’s a cheapy $2.00 AUD shell casing picked up this morning from a swap meet. After cleaning up & a decent polish I think she looks ok for display….ammo’s not usually my thing but couldn’t resist at that price.

From a quick internet search (I have no idea in this field) it’s a Naval round for a "Pom-Pom" setup?

Hi guys,
Just a question about this watch. Ive always wanted one of these and an opportunity has arisen to purchase one. However, after looking through the photos provided, i just had a few questions about it that i couldn’t really find the answers to. Is it normal that the information on the back of the back plate is stamped on instead of pressed into the metal and also who is the manufacturer L. G. Wien and why is it not Lange and Son as is engraved on the movement?

Hi guys,
Here is another knights cross i would love your opinion on. Every now and then i find them coming up for auction with some very obvious fakes, and others like this one which looks better and worth more opinions. Unfortunately the photos provided aren’t fantastic, but they said that the loop and cross are marked 800, and that there is another indistinguishable mark (assuming makers mark ) on the top of the cross too. Looks to be traces of original silver frosting on it as well.
