Luftwaffe Major Baumhauer. Commander of sole eastern Lw-FeldBtl.

(April 1943 the I. Kauk.Lw-F.Btl. was incorporated into the Sonderverband Bergmann.)

Interesting image of his collartab, anyone with a loose Kindjal insignia like that in their collection? Would be interesting to studie such a rare item.

Need help with authenticity of this DAK tropenmutze,

Hi all, this just popped up on a local site for sale, I do not know much about German headgear but I like the look of this cap. I would like to know if the cap looks like an authentic wartime item, any help is greatly appreciated.
