Fire Fighters Belt Lehmann & Wundenberg

Hello Gents,

I am not exactly sure where I post this so if I am off please let me know or push the post to the correct section. Thanks

I won this on ebay. I don’t have it in hand. But I have been looking high and low on the net to see it being worn ect.

I am thinking it may be a imperial or pre ww2 example

It has a sold makers name, looks to have proper wear for age and decent storage.

Would this be worn in action or for parade ect,

any help would be awesome
Thanks in Advance

I will also send more pics when it in hand

NSDAP Banner for opinions - odd red color

I picked up this banner from WAF, the pictures weren’t great, but it was inexpensive and the seller is a lifetime member. The flag has ties at the top, and a sleeve above the gold tassels to add a rod for weight to hold the banner down.

It arrived yesterday, and the red is one I’ve not yet seen on an NSDAP flag. It’s not the tomato orange color usually seen, but a cherry red color. It’s always hard to tell from photos because digital cameras often crush the blue tones making these look more red anyway. But, this one really is different, but maybe some were this color of red?.

Also, I can’t tell if the roundel is the gold or brown tone because of age and poor storage and care, or originally was like that. The banner feels dirty, and it has a strong old smell to it, so the whole color thing may just be age and storage related. Nevertheless, this one is really puzzling, and I was hoping to get opinions on it.

The construction looks okay, the fabric feels dry and rough like a Gosch flag, and is thin. But I can’t tell if the colors have changed over the years or if it’s an old reproduction. All thoughts would be much appreciated.

Opinions please -

Hello, I just got these. I usually am careful to research things to death, but occasionally I will impulse buy. That’s what I did here. These were marked "WW2 German guaranteed original"
Anyway, what is the verdict? Thank you for any info…

Need help! Quist? M42 sd heer helmet

Hello all! This my first venture into the helmet world. And if possible I d like to hear some opinions please? Its a M42 of that much I’m confident lol, but that s about the extent of my knowledge. To my eyes anyhow all the components, minus the paint of course seem original to the helmet. The liner (possibly blood stained?), retainer, and pins look undisturbed, and in good condition. The decal had been dug out from the postwar paint, and unfortunately is in less than good condition. Most of the original chinstrap is there in fragments (not pictured). I cannot fully make out the heat stamp markings, but looking through previous threads they compare well to quist made helmets? Possibly a "qvl" ? But as said they are difficult to make out w/o removing some paint; which I do not want to do. In any event any help offered would be appreciated! My thanks in advance! Best regards.

Brian
