Ammo Feeder Chute

Hi Guys

I have in my very small aircraft collection an American ammo feeder/chute it is made by Smoot Holman Co., Inglewood, Calfi. and I am trying to find out which aircraft it is for.

It has the following serial and part numbers:-

S/N 5200-174506-937, P/N LLB-50-M3-G1-6 - Flexi Feed
S/N 5200-001785, P/N 43A20362 - End Clip
S/N 5200-001775, P/N 43A20361 - Front Clip

This is not really in my collecting field, so may put it for sale in the advert section when I know which aircraft it is for.

ww1 CEF Engineers or 10 th Battalion Insignia?

Hello Gents,

I’ve come across a helmet with a red stencilled insignia of a beaver encircled by a maple leaf wreath and topped with a crown. I’m quite sure this is an Engineer’s insignia however, the 10 th battalion stencilled insignia is quite similar, in fact almost identical. Hoping someone can definitively identify this insignia. As I said, probably engineers and if so I’d like to see the comparisons and differences to the 10th battalion insignia.
