Provisional Reichswehr Soldbuch and Reichswehr IdCard

Hi

A couple of things I picked up recently that I’d like to share for historical interest……….Although not Third Reich they form a nice link between the Imperial Army paperwork and the Wehrmacht issue stuff.

First is a soldbuch WW1 style but issued to a member of the provisional reichswehr in 1920, a member of the rifle regt. 25 which went on to become IR 13 when the army was reduced to 100,000 men.

Other item is an ID for a rifleman in IR 6 Komp 10 and came with his photo album. Book is signed by the commander Freiherr von Lutzow.

The insignia is the arm shield worn by provisional reichswehr to identify which unit they belonged. Just happened to come to me at the same time and not related to the paperwork.

kind regards

Tony

Question RAD Standarte…considering

Hello,

I have been looking for a few years for a nice RAD Standarte. I have only seen a couple in all my years and they were in very tough shape. This one has only a few moth holes and looks pretty good. What are the opinions of the cloth folks here on this? I have always thought they were the best designed flag of the third reich and I have a pole top that is crying to be united with one. I feel pretty good about this one. Thanks for looking and for the opinions as they are not easy to find or cheap. Best pics I could acquire at this time. The first picture is able to be zoomed in upon. Size is 118 cm High x 134 cm Long.

Strange Variation of Mitchell M1 Cover - Looks like Ozcam??

I am trying to figure this one out. The cover really looks more like an Australian camo pattern, and not like any Mitchell cover I have yet seen.

I understand that there were Ozcam M1 covers made in very small lots but surely not back in 1968?

“Krasny Vyborzhetz” canteen cup

On one of the russian forums I saw an interesting thing - aluminum canteen cup labeled plant "Krasny Vyborzhetz". According to its owner, size and shape are different from the similar german cup. Release date is unknown, maybe it’s fake or early experimental model? In any case, it is interesting.
"Krasny Vyborzhetz" marked with a red dot:

Need help! SS Buckles Real?

Hey guys, I have the opportunity to trade a few items for these buckles but I cannot verify if they are real. They look old enough but I usually stay away from SS items because of so many fakes. Thanks for any help you can offer on these.
