Odd bird I found at my favorite spot… a white Kreigsmarine tropical helmet.

Problem is… I’ve never seen a white pith aside from examples with an eagle placed on the front of the helmet. Before I make an offer… anyone here knowledgeable about this helmet? If so, is the asking price within reason? 954904954905954906954907954908954909

Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Klasse for review

Hello Gents,
Picked this up. I am no expert in them and I have few questions.
My first question is who is the maker

#2 the swastika on the obverse seems to have paint removed. It does not look this is recent but since it is below the surrounding parts of the badge this probably would not result from wear. It really makes it stand out but From limited experience I have never seen an EK1 with the swaz paint missing,
I am thinking post war or done or owner did third during the war.

#3The hardware on the reverse. appears the hinge was incorrectly applied or was repaired or done post war.

I thank you in advance,
General Putnam954888954896954894954889954890954891954892954893954895954897954888954896954894954889954890954891954892954893954895954897
