for sale Waffen-SS Panzer garrison cap

by: all1knew

Description: Hello all,

Here’s your chance to own an authentic Waffen-SS Panzer garrison cap. I personally bought this from the family of the Vet. after he passed away. If the hat does not sell here at my asking price, which is extremely fair, I have no problem keeping this example in my collection. This one is full of blood, sweat, and grime just like one would expect from the guy fighting from within the inside of a Tiger tank. This is a large-size cap and textbook in every way. Tropical bergmutze ? or ?

Today I have found this hat in a "second hand" shop for about 1 $.
It has no trace of any insignia or stamps. Also there are two little holes as marks on each side on the places where suppоse to be ventilation holes. As you can see there are no typical edges on the cut of the ridge on both sides.

So is the the next "unsolved" case , or despered lost cause … or just some reproductor’s first attempt :) ? 955089955101955100955099955098955097955091955094955093955092955090955102

Return of the Webley Service Revolver?

Hi Guys,

Just saw this new model of the Webley Mk VI that is being re-manufactured here in the U.K. (for export only:() from the original factory drawings by bespoke gunmakers Anderson Wheeler, who make the double rifle as seen in the Bond movie "Skyfall".

The design has been modified to be a 7 shot cylinder that takes a .357 Mag cartridge. They have therefore christened it as the "Mark VII". They reckon on producing around 50 a year, but at around £6,500 these smoke wagons ain’t cheap! Still, it’s a beautiful looking piece, I wonder if some of our colonial members across the Atlantic may be tempted?:D

And a short video featuring the maker…..I like his blazer, but the unmatching cravat and handkerchief is an unforgivable faux pas.:p

I wonder if they’ll beef up the calibre as an option in the future?

Regards, Ned.

Question Are these German?

Good afternoon gents,

I need to askthe assitance of those who know what I do not!

I know very little about the iconic "jackboot" other than to tell the difference between some officer and soldier patterns but then not in great detail.

A friend of mine has the boots pictured here and has asked me for info about them. I had to admit I don’t know but that "I know a man (men) who probably do".

So, please tell me as much as possible about these boots, I am keen to learn as is my friend.

The spurs did not come with the boots but I am pretty sure they are German. The rubber heels on the boots are obviously replacements but I do believe that rubber heels were around at the time.;

Thanks for any input.

Regards

Mark
