Description: Here is a very tough piece to find! This is the initial guard and fittings that were produced solely by Anton Wingen Jr. in very small numbers! It took me 20 years to find one and in view of another purchase I am forced to move this unique piece. All heavy Brass hilt with a wide tapered tang blade as you would expect. Blade has no nicks or rust, needle tip! Scabbard has the large rings used only by Wingen, with an interesting protective lacquer still clinging to much of its surface.
