Question Vietnam War M1 ?

Hi,

Always wanted a legit Vietnam War M1.
Is this a legit one - the liner strap is from 1969 but the rest is unmarked.

Thanks in advance.

New member needing FJ Helmet authentication help!

Hi all!

I’m new to the hobby and new to the forum. I picked up a couple of items recently including this M38 FJ Helmet. ET 68. I would really appreciate some feedback regarding the helmets authenticity. It all looks sound to me, but, as I said I’m really no authority.
It was picked up by a metal-detecting enthusiast in Poland who himself bought it from a fellow collector. The gent sent me some photos of his other helmets, edged weapons and various ground dug items and on that basis I saw no reason to doubt his guarantee of the FJ helmets provenance.

Be great to hear from you guys,

Question Berg Rucksack

I just picked up this mountain Rucksack at auction for 80 US dollars. I know it is missing some strap pieces and could use some help figuring out what is missing. I think it is two straps with hardware to attach to the ammo pouches and some kind of waist belt. Interestingly, it carries the name of someone who once owned it as a backpack post war. I found someone on the web matching the name and sent him a message. He was born in Brussels and traveled to Athens as part of his professional career involving aerospace. You can see the airline tags still attached including the Sabena airways one from Belgium and one for Athens. I’d like to know the history of the pack - hopefully I will hear from the previous owner.
