NSDAP Pin

Hi Friends,

I just picked this up this weekend. Please give me your opinions as I do not know very much about these pins.

Thanks,

William

Chinstrap Confusion

Hi guys,

What say ye of this chinstrap? There is corrosion and dry rot and it smells old, but this is a very common fake maker mark, so I worry.

Thanks,
Mo

Veterans plaque Adrian helmet

A pick up today, my first Adrian which is odd as I have almost bought one on so many occasions but never did until today. I assume it is a M15 as issued to Vets who had seen action though they were also sold according to what I read in some others posts on these so the history from those in the know is already here from a simple search.

It has half of its chinstrap but is missing its liner -as so many are- and sadly also missing its badge which appears to be the type with crossed cannons, so Arty I assume. I snagged an image of one from the web of what I think is missing if anyone has one?

I have not cleaned it or polished the brass or anything yet and perhaps it is best to leave it as is though /i would like to replace the badge and perhaps the liner if possible.

M35 Beaded Double Decal Luftschutz Police Helmet - Smooth Pea Green Paint - Set Back Decals

I have tightened my belt of late due to finances, but saw this one recently at a bargain price. I really like reissues, and especially helmets with non standard decal placement. This one is probably an EF64 but the maker/size and lot number stamps are indecipherable. It was originally issued as a beaded Luftschutz helmet in standard LS dark blue. In hand you can just barely make out the LS Wing decal on the brow. Later it received a thick coat of smooth pea green paint, and adjourned with an unbordered Police Adler and Party Shield, both set back behind the vents. Unfortunately, it no longer has the liner (if anyone knows where I can get a replacement please PM me, I would like to complete this one), and has some obvious condition issues, but with the color and the set back decals I picked it up anyway. Hope you like it, Jim G.

Indian Made Battledress Trousers

I am very pleased to have finally been able to add a pair of Indian made battledress trousers to my collection. As might be expected, these are pretty scarce and go nicely with an Indian made BD blouse I bought off a friend earlier in the year. This pair have been repaired at some point with parts of a British made trousers, hence the variations in colour:

They go together well with a set of Indian made 37 pattern webbing:
