Question WWI WWII? CHARGEUR TYPE V 4×10 & LANCE BOMBES TYPE V 8X58

Anyone here know what, and what era, these were? From a WWII vet’s collection, I think these are probably French weapons (a French mortar?), an internet search returns absolutely nothing… This forum is really my last hope.

Also in the pics is another French tag for a Minimax, any ideas on this one?

Thx!!!

Need help! SS Dagger

Someone offers to sell me this SS Dagger, for a reasonable price. There is no maker on the blade, I heard this is quite common for these kind of daggers. Is it a real one? Some antiques saler, specialised in old weapons, wrote a certificate for it but I assume anyone can do this. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Luftwaffe Flak EM visor (Gustav Binner, 1938)

Hi, hoping to pick this one up soon.

I found the Unit here:-

leichte Flak-Abteilung 84

The Unit markings seem to correspond, the Leichte Flak Abteilung 84 (motorized) was formed from II/ Flak Regiment 14 in 1938, and you can see that earlier Unit crossed out as expected. Looks like the Unit had an eventful life, France, Russia, France again (Normandy), then the Ardennes attached to Kampfgruppe Peiper!

It seems to have had very little wear, just light wear/ sweat-stains at the front of the sweat-band, plus the initials.

I’m also quite intrigued by the fact that it was made in a town that no longer exists (as a German town that is), the town now being Wroclaw in Poland!

Regards, Paul

Found this helmet this morning at an estate sale

After some research I’m guessing CPT J.D. Johnson is now Lt. General J.D. Johnson who in 1977 took command of EUSA. Here’s some info because the photos aren’t very clear.

It’s a rear seam Swivel Bail heat stamped 1264H. And I looked up the brass plate markings to find the following.

United Nations Command - UNC

Eighth Uinted States Army - EUSA

U.S Army Aviation School Motto - "ABOVE THE BEST"

And all I could find regarding ABN GAWEDA was some info on a Command Sgt Major Gaweda, any thoughts?

Brass plate says -

CPT J.D. JOHNSON

CO UNC EUSA HONOR GUARD

"ABOVE THE BEST"

FROM (ABN) GAWEDA
